Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
I believe that what data I collect from you, and how I use it, and that you should have meaningful control over both. You own your data.

I will not sell, reuse or rent this information to a third party. I may give a third party service provider information when it is necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to send you books.
For contests, I may request contact information (such as name and shipping address). For surveys, I may request demographic information (such as zip code and reading preferences). You may participate or not; it’s totally up to you. Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contact from me at any time by contacting me at email@example.com:
- See what data I have about you, if any.
- Change/correct any data I have about you.
- Delete any data I have about you.
- Express any concern you have about my use of your data.
Sometimes I partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, I will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
If you give me information about yourself, I will only use it to the extent that I need to for newsletters, promotions and other specific purposes related to my books. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. If I make a material change (one that’s super important), then I will either shoot you an email or post it on my website. Or both!
My website links to other sites. A social media site, like Facebook or Twitter, is a biggie since recent events. Remember, when you click on a link you leave my world and enter their world. The best practice is to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
